Phase I: Design Review and Construction Supervision of a Sewage Treatment Plant for Taif City. The treatment plant has been designed for an average daily flow of 67,000 m³ /day based on Activated Sludge Extended Aeration Process. The plant included Tertiary Treatment. The project also included water, sewerage and storm drainage system for the whole city. Saudconsult was the leading firm in association with John Taylor & Sons, U.K.
Phase II:
Part 1: A conclusive study of the existing STP from all Technical & operational aspects, the treatment system used and to make proposals necessary for developing of both the Plant and the system used so that the plant can be operated in its full capacity (67000 m³/day)
Confirmations of tertiary effluent that can be used in unrestricted irrigation.
Part 2: Carry out study/design and extension of the existing treatment plant by designing a new treatment plant to be implemented nearby the existing one, and connected to each other if possible so that the full capacity of both plants shall become (150,000 m³/day). This shall include all design and study works and submission of the relevant drawings and other documents such as contract conditions, specifications, BOQ’s and plans
