The Efficiency of existing Treatment Plant and problem of Odour in the existing plant were evaluated. The Preliminary and Final design for the extension of treatment Plant were done to face future increase in flow in the next 20 years. The Treatment Plant was designed to extend the treatment capacity from 126,000 m³ /day to 256,000 m³ /day. The treatment process was based on Activated Sludge Extended Aeration Carrosul Process.
