The Flight Training Center project for Saudi Arabian Airlines is planned to provide Flight Training Facilities to Saudia staff. This includes Flight Operations Training Center (FOTC) as well as Flight Safety Training Center (FSTC). Currently Saudia staff has to travel abroad to get this training incurring heavy expenditures. The project consists of a Flight Operations Training Facility and a Flight Safety Training Facility.
FOTC houses six Full Flight Simulators in two Sim Bays, Four Flight Training Devices, 3D Flight Management Systems Training Equipment and Computer Based Training (CBT) Equipment.
FSTC has a High Bay Swimming Pool area that houses an Emergency Evacuation Trainer. Door Trainers are located on the First level.
Salient Features included transfer of three existing FFS from Saudia’s other premises in Kandara Compound Jeddah to the new FOTC facility. That included consideration of existing SIMs requirements.
