The Government of Ghana has received funds from the Saudi Fund for Development (SFD) for the rehabilitation of the Bolgatanga Regional Hospital in the Upper East Region of Ghana.
The overall objective of the project is to provide essential secondary level health services infrastructure in the Upper East Region through rehabilitation of the Bolgatanga Hospital to become a Regional Hospital.
The proposed Regional Hospital is expected to service an initial population of about 1.5million people and will have departments for all major disciplines of medicine with an estimated capacity of 240 beds.
